It is not news that in today’s busy world we are more preoccupied to make money than take care of our health. We become concerned with our health only when our beautiful and efficient bodies do not help us anymore to make money.

But it doesn’t have to be like that! With minimum effort and money, we could have our daily (and much more) nutrients requirement fulfilled by having plenty of vegetables and fruits in a glass and I would love to share with you my 10 Healthy Juices recipes.

Recent studies show that the nutritional value of vegetables has decreased by 50% in the last 100 years due to intensive farming, the use of fertilizers and the introduction of genetically modified vegetables and fruits. And not last the pesticides and insecticides which make the plants’ disease-free but kill everything else in their path.

So, it looks like we cannot fight the world just now but we can try to take better care of ourselves through proper nutrition, and what could be more helpful and delicious than a glass of freshly squeezed juice?

To be able to make the juice you will need a Juicer that can be bought from any small appliances store, vegetables and fruits – preferably organic and of course the following recipes:

1 cm Ginger

1 medium Beetroot, including the leaves

Here we are at the end of 10 Healthy Juices Recipes with vegetables and fruits we have in our kitchens on a regular celery-kale-detoxbasis. I advise you to have the juice immediately after preparation if it is not possible the juice can be stored in the fridge and consumed within 30 minutes after preparation.

The Juices can be consumed throughout the day but not later than 5 pm as they always give a boost of energy that will keep you up at night if taken too late.

Do not keep the juice for longer than 30 minutes as the vitamins deteriorate in contact with light, air, and high temperature.

There are two types of Juicers that can be used: high rotation and slow release.

The high rotation Juicer advantage is speed. The juice is ready in no time but the nutrient extraction is about 45% only.

The slow-release juicer advantage is high nutrient extraction, about 80% but it will take a bit of time until we fill up the glass with goodness and the juicer is more expensive.

Daily juice consumption will have a detoxing effect noticed after approximately two weeks and all the other benefits in less than one month. Daily use will strongly help with weight loss as well.

The opponents of juicing suggest that people drinking vegetables and fruits juice are missing out on the fiber which is removed when juicing but the question is what fiber are we missing if we do not eat those vegetables and fruits anyway?

The big advantage of juicing is that we can double or triple the number of vegetables and fruits we consume per day just by drinking a glass of juice!

From my own experience juicing is the holy grail for a healthy, natural lifestyle and for sickness prevention. And if juicing makes us look more beautiful and radiating health, why not?
